The room was spacious, clean, and in a good locatio - walking distance to the Ankara Castle. The receptionists were nice. We arrived early in the morning at around 8am as we took an early flight, we were allowed to check in, and even a breakfast.

I walked to Asal Hotel from Ankara Train Station with just one backpack. The walk took me past a park and across several large roads, and I actually enjoyed looking around the city along the way. However, I would not recommend walking this route if you are traveling with a large suitcase. The hotel itself is relatively small, but it was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was also quite good considering the price of the hotel, so overall I felt it offered good value for money. One unusual experience was getting a taxi through the BiTaksi app. The first driver seemed unable to find the hotel, so the ride didn’t work out. On my second attempt, I finally managed to meet the driver after speaking with him on the phone. Since the driver didn’t speak English, I couldn’t really understand what the problem was. Overall, Asal Hotel was a good budget-friendly choice for my short stay in Ankara. Clean, comfortable, decent breakfast, and good value for the price.

The hotel was nice. They checked me in earlier than the official check in time, which was great. The room had all the stated amenities. I didn't really like breakfast, though, as there were many cheese options, but not enough meat or eggs / vegetables. As a person allergic to milk, I couldn't benefit from all the variety, unfortunately. Coffee machine would be a nice addition, too. There's a supermarket literally next door which is convenient. The location overall was great, too.
