Itinerary


Day 1 : Arrival in Jaipur & Chokhi Dhani Excursion

Meet your tour manager on arrival at the Jaipur airport or railway station, and transfer to your hotel via private air-conditioned vehicle. Check into your hotel and relax for a while Set out for a visit to Chokhi Dhani, an authentic village resort where you can enjoy cultural performances, taste the local cuisine, and shop for authentic handicraft products directly from the local artisans.


Return to your hotel in Jaipur for an overnight stay.


Day 2 : Visit Pushkar en-route Jodhpur

Check out of your hotel in Jaipur and set out on a journey towards Jodhpur city. En-route Jodhpur.


visit Pushkar, the "city of temples" that boasts over 400 temples lining the banks of its lake. If visiting in November, you will be able to visit the colourful grand annual fair, which also includes the largest camel fair held in the world.


Arrive in Jodhpur and check into your hotel. Set out for a visit to Ghanta Ghar or the Clock Tower of Jodhpur, the most prominent landmark in the city that was built by Maharaja Sardar Singh between 1880 and 1911.


Visit the vibrant Sardar Market located near the tower. Its narrow alleyways lead to bazaars that sell vegetables, spices, Indian sweets, textiles, silver and handicrafts. It is a wonderful place to amble around at your leisure.


Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.


Day 3 : Jodhpur Sightseeing

Set out in the morning to visit the Mehrangarh Fort a majestic hill-top fort sprawling over an expanse of 5 kilometres. It is one of the most formidable structures in Rajasthan. Unscalable from the outside, the fort has four gates that can be approached by a winding road which gives way to magnificent palaces with marvellously carved panels, latticed windows and evocative names.


Noteworthy of these are the Moti Mahal, Phool Mahal, Sheesh Mahal, Sileh Khana and Daulat Khana, which you will visit. Next, head towards the Jaswant Thada, whose imposing white marble memorial marks the site of a royal crematorium. The four cenotaphs around here commemorate notable acts of bravery and generosity of the four successive rulers and the building inside features their royal portraits. Visit the Umaid Bhawan Palace, a fabulous building which is split between a museum and a 5-star. The museum has a small collection of vintage cars attached which is a treat to the eyes.


Return to hotel for an overnight stay.


Day 4 : Visit Ranakpur en-route Udaipur

Head out early in the morning for a drive out to visit the Ranakpur Jain Temple. The sprawling temple complex comprises 1444 intricately carved pillars, 24 pillared halls accompanied by 80 domes which are borne by 400 columns. The apogee of this entire temple architecture is the fact that no two pillars in here are the same! Another exquisite aspect that has also earned the temple its name is the carving of the four-headed image of Adinath, sheltered by a 108-headed snake with numerous tails. The entire ceiling of this temple complex is bedecked with geometric designs and scrollwork.


Continue onwards to Udaipur and check into the hotel on arrival. In the evening, set out towards Bagore-ki-Haveli, a gorgeous 18th-century haveli that has been converted into a museum showcasing Mewar art and architecture. Here, you will enjoy a "Dharohar" folk dance performance. Return to hotel for an overnight stay.


Day 5 : Udaipur Sightseeing

Head out in the morning to visit the City Palace of Udaipur, which is reputed for having been built over a period of nearly 400 years with contributions from several rulers of the Mewar dynasty.


Next, visit Saheliyon Ki Bari a garden located on the banks of the Fateh Sagar Lake which presenting a green retreat in the drylands of Rajasthan. It was built from 1710 to 1734 by Maharana Sangram Singh for the 48 royal ladies of the house. Make your way to the Jagdish Temple, a world-renowned temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Three storeys and 79 feet high, it was built by Maharana Jagat Singhji in 1651 and is today owned and managed by the royal family of Udaipur.


Visit Dudh Talai, which is located on the banks of Lake Pichola near the City Palace. From here, you can enjoy a beautiful view of Lake Pichola, Jagmandir Island Palace, Lake Palace, Udaivilas, The Leela Palace, gorgeous Aravalli ranges and Udiapur old city. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.


Day 6 : Visit Chattorgarh Fort en-route Jaipur

Early in the morning, set out to see the Chittorgarh Fort, the latest fort in India and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Sprawling over a hill 180 metres in height over an area of 280 hectares 691.9 above the plains of the valley drained by the Berach River, it boasts of several historical palaces, gates, a temple and two prominent commemorative towers.


Continue onwards to Jaipur and check into your hotel before retreating for a good night's sleep.


Day 7 : Jaipur Sightseeing

Head out in the morning to see the Amber Fort, built on a hill in Amer by Raja Man Singh I. The Maota Lake located in front of the monument acts as a source of water for the fort. See the UNESCO World Heritage Site that is Jantar Mantar. Built in 1734 by the Rajput king Sawai Jai Singh II; the founder of Jaipur; it is a collection of nineteen architectural astronomical instruments that allow the observation of astronomical positions with the naked eye.


Spend one hour exploring the City Palace of Jaipur. The palace was constructed in 1721 and originally served as the administrative and ceremonial seat of Maharaja of Jaipur. It was also the location of religious and cultural events that took place at that time. It now houses the Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II Museum, and continues to be the home of the royal family of Jaipur.


Visit the exquisite Jal Mahal, a small palace is set in the middle of Man Sagar Lake, and continue onwards to see the famous Hawa Mahal. Built in red and pink sandstone, the five floor exterior of this "palace of winds" is akin to a honeycomb with its 953 small windows called Jharokhas decorated with intricate latticework.


Spend the evening in the city at your own leisure before returning to your hotel in Jaipur for an overnight stay.


Day 8 : Departure from Jaipur

Drop-off to Jaipur Airport, Jaipur Railway Station, or your desired location in Jaipur, marking the end of this tour.
