This surreal structure, often called the “Chicken Church,” was originally meant to be a dove—but, well, people saw a chicken, and the name stuck.Perched on a hill, the building was started in the 1990s by Daniel Alamsjah, who claimed he had a vision to create a house of prayer for all religions. Now, it’s an eerie, abandoned-but-not-abandoned spot with a surprisingly beautiful panoramic view from the chicken’s “crown.” 🏞️Why visit? The absurdity of it is enough, but the underground rooms, which were once rehabilitation spaces, add another layer of mystery. Plus, the sunrise here is magical. 🌅I highly recommend this place—where else can you say you’ve climbed inside a chicken’s head and found peace?
