You can cover most of their stops in 1hour bus ride (if you choose not to hop off at all and just wanna mainly enjoy the scenes from the bus). We hopped off at the Cathedral stop, it was one of the last few stops of the journey. It was apparently a perfect stop, as it happened to be very close (only 5 mins walking) to the hotel we were staying at, Hoan Kiem District, the heart of all the tourist spots. So if you also stay in Hoan Kiem area and plan to go home straight after the ride, I suggest you hop off at Cathedral Stop, so you can walk home and can save cost by not taking a Grab (online taxi) home. I started my bus ride at 2pm, didn’t hop off at all until stopped at the Cathedral at 3pm ish. All spots were a great choice, audio was clear, the tour guide greeting you at the bottom deck was friendly. All in all, convenient for lazy travellers like me. wear a hat + sunscreen, for sitting at the top deck (bottom deck won’t be worth it, despite the aircon, believe me)

Definitely a must do tour to get an overview of the city. It is very convenient to get to famous places and and on to the next while listening to the history while on the bus. Ticket prices are very reasonable.

We started at 9:00 am. It was a convenient way to get around Hanoi. The attendant was helpful. They provide free earphones for the audio guide and a Vietnamese hat for sun protection. However, don't expect to be informed at every stop. We didn't realize that we needed to let the staff know if we wanted to hop off. We only found this out when we had already reached Station 9.

Hanoi offers double-decker bus tours, providing a convenient and scenic way to explore the city's attractions. These "hop-on, hop-off" tours allow visitors to explore at their own pace, with multiple stops at popular landmarks.

I had an amazing experience on the Hanoi City Sightseeing Bus Tour! The open-top bus gave me the perfect view of the city’s famous landmarks, from Hoan Kiem Lake to the Old Quarter and even the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. The audio guide was available in several languages, which made it easy to learn about Hanoi’s rich history and culture. I loved being able to hop on and off at different stops to explore local attractions at my own pace. Comfortable seats, friendly staff, and punctual service made the whole ** enjoyable. Highly recommended for first-time visitors to Hanoi!”
