物超所值，動植物園很大，動物很多，價錢便宜，又有機動遊戲，隔離歷史博物館

I had a wonderful afternoon going to the zoo and the zoo itself are very big but well organised and there are also sign-board to help you navigate through the zoo, i even have a very close up look at the tiger. This is really a nice place to spend you time together with family members. There are also stalls selling snacks and drinks within the zoo.

I went with a couple of friends on a weekday, so we avoided the weekend crowds. The grounds are sprawling—an easy two to three hours if you take your time. We started with the botanical section, where centuries-old trees create natural tunnels of shade. The orchid garden was a quiet highlight, bursting with colours that seemed almost unnatural.The animal enclosures are a mixed bag. Some, like the reptile house and the primate islands, feel well-maintained and spacious. Others—especially the big cat pens—look a bit tired and small, which tugs at the heart. Still, the zoo clearly tries to educate, with informative signs in both Vietnamese and English.One unexpected perk: the lake in the middle. We rented a paddle boat for a laugh (cheap and cheerful), and watching the sun filter through the trees while ducks paddled alongside us was genuinely relaxing. There’s also a small amusement park area for kids, but we skipped that.

Saigon Zoo & Botanical Gardens is a nice escape from the busy streets of Ho Chi Minh City. The huge trees and green spaces make the place feel surprisingly peaceful despite being in the city center. I enjoyed seeing the monkeys, giraffes, elephants, and reptile area. It feels more like a nostalgic city park combined with a zoo rather than a modern wildlife park. Some areas are well maintained and enjoyable, while a few cages look a bit outdated. Still, it’s affordable, centrally located, and a good place to spend a few relaxing hours. Visiting in the morning is probably the best option

I was surprised to experience how calm the animals are and how they freely roam through the zoo. The people themselves are also enjoying and there's a lot of children there too.
