升旗山生態公園

The ride up on the funicular was fantastic and the views were beautiful at the top. The climate is much cooler up there compared with the city. The Habitat had lots of interesting information and lovely walk ways. We really enjoyed ourselves, a lovely break from the city, in nature.

I love the vast variety of flora and little faunas in this park. We got a guided walk (our guide was Ms. Corina) which really made the walk experience 100/10. My family who are hardly out in nature found the guided walk so refreshing. Corina shared uncountable facts and surprising knowledge on the botany and little critters. There's an endemic Vampire Crab that lives in Penang Hill that we would have missed out seeing if it weren't for her!

Excellent buy. After placing the order, I received a QR code immediately. Used it at the gate. Simple.

The cable car is not included so you have to pay first for that at the entrance. Very relaxing while you are up and observing the lush greenery of the forest in Penang Hills. The staff is very friendly. When she asked me for my ticket, my phone has no signal so she gave me an access to their wifi so I can retrieve my ticket.

The tram ride was cool, there’s a nice hiking trail up the mountains and we saw wild birds and monkeys along the trail.
