扎耶德國家博物館位於阿布達比薩迪亞特文化區（Saadiyat Cultural District）的核心地帶。博物館是融合 歷史、文化與創新的重要地標。透過沉浸式展覽、深入研究以及多元的公眾教育項目，博物館傳承謝赫·扎耶德的遠見精神，繼續實踐他對進步、合作與文化傳承的承諾。
博物館由普立茲克獎得主諾曼福斯特爵士（Lord Norman Foster） 及其事務所Foster + Partners 設計。建築標誌性特徵為五座高聳的鋼塔，靈感源自獵鷹展翅飛翔的姿態，塔高達 123米，是該文化區內較高建築。塔體結合了傳統建築形式與自然通風概念，體現了博物館對永續與文化歸屬感的承諾。總建築面積 88,870平方米，設計融合古代被動式節能技術與現代科技，以應對阿聯酋氣候條件。創新系統包括地熱冷凍、輻射地板技術、太陽能板及智慧水能管理。其中Al Masar花園是一條長600公尺的戶外展廊，種植本地耐旱植物，以沙漠、綠洲與城市景觀為背景，展示謝赫·扎耶德的人生歷程。部分植物也將用於博物館餐廳的食材。
博物館將以生動的方式展示阿聯酋從史前至今的歷史、文化與故事。館藏超過3000件文物，其中約1500件將展出，涵蓋 30萬年人類歷史，包括舊石器、新石器時代、青銅與鐵器時代、伊斯蘭時期及現代史，共設 六個常設展廳，分佈於兩層樓。
六大展廳主題：
1. 我們的起源（Our Beginning）— 展示謝赫·扎耶德的生平、遺產與價值觀；
2. 自然之路（Through Our Nature）— 探討自然地形的形成及其對人類生活的影響；
3. 致祖先（To Our Ancestors）— 呈現30萬年來人類活動的證據與早期貿易交流；
4. 交流之路（Through Our Connections）— 探索該地區作為古代世界十字路口的角色及伊斯蘭傳播；
5. 濱海文化（By Our Coasts）— 展示阿聯酋沿海社區從採珠、漁業到航海貿易的文化；
6. 根之源（To Our Roots）— 呈現沙漠、綠洲與山地的內陸傳統及代代相傳的非物質文化遺產。

阿布扎比盧浮宮坐落於薩迪亞特島的文化區，是阿聯酋與法國合作建成的藝術博物館，2017年11月向公眾開放，建築出自法國建築師讓·努維爾之手。整館由幾十棟白色小體量建築組成，海水被引入樓宇之間，遠看像一座漂浮在海上的「博物館之城」；罩在上方的是直徑約180米的巨型鏤空穹頂，七千多個星形構件層層疊合，陽光穿過孔隙在牆面和水面投下斑駁光斑，設計靈感取自綠洲棕櫚林間漏下的日光，這一效果被稱作「光雨」，是這裡的招牌畫面。

Zayed National Museum is an outstanding cultural landmark and a must-visit destination in Abu Dhabi. The architecture is striking and meaningful, immediately setting the tone for a museum that is both modern and deeply rooted in heritage.Inside, the exhibitions are exceptionally well curated, guiding visitors through the life, values, and vision of Sheikh Zayed and the formation of the UAE. The storytelling is clear, engaging, and emotionally resonant, supported by a thoughtful mix of artefacts, multimedia, and interactive displays. It never feels overwhelming, yet leaves you with a strong sense of understanding and appreciation.What makes the museum truly special is how it goes beyond history, highlighting universal themes such as sustainability, unity, leadership, and respect for culture. The space is immaculately maintained, easy to navigate, and staffed by knowledgeable and welcoming guides. Highly recommended and worth your time!
The National Zayed Museum is absolutely stunning. The architecture is incredibly beautiful and truly impressive — it stays in your memory long after the visit. The museum is also very informative, especially about the ruling family and the history of the UAE. A very powerful and inspiring place. I really enjoyed it.
Visiting the museum feels both educational and inspiring. From the moment visitors approach the building, the striking architecture sets the tone for a memorable cultural experience. The museum’s five steel towers—designed to resemble the feathers of a falcon—symbolize Emirati heritage and serve as thermal chimneys that help naturally cool the building. Inside, the atmosphere is calm and thoughtfully designed, allowing visitors to explore the history and identity of the UAE in a meaningful way. Many visitors report spending two to three hours exploring the galleries, although the museum is large enough that a full visit may take longer.
