盤門景區

We were lucky to find this place as it is very picturesque and less crowded than any other attraction in the city. Climbing the pagoda is not worth the extra fee in my opinion. The gate is really impressive so come here to enjoy a serene experience and take some lovely photos!

The Panmen Gate Scenic area was really beautiful. I recommend taking a walk around 7pm in summer when the weather is a bit cooler and they turn on the lights inside.I was disappointed with the boat ride. Firstly, the signage for the docking station was hidden in bushes and wasn't easy to see, especially as an English speaker. We walked around for a while before finding it, after asking for help by the Panmen Gate exit.

Spotted the site randomly and decided to visit the place at night. It is about 20-minute by road from Wanda Complex. It is not the most popular tourist site in Suzhou, I believe. The place was not crowded (partially, it's low season now). Overall, it was quite a pleasant place to visit with some cultural performances.

It was the light show that attracted us to here. The overall environment was nice. Recommended spending time is 45 minutes. You will need to wait for the light show at pan men tower to start. The show will repeat few times a night.

The night visit was superb, there were delightful performances.
