Had a great time! Hannah and her team were very nice! We get to feed the elephant, brush and shower for them. It’s a nice experience. Great choice for family and children.
Visited here on the 24th of July with my partner for the afternoon bathe and feeding half day programme. Anna and Sky were very nice and provided all the information needed. There is no elephant riding here. Instead, you get to feed the elephants, learn about their stories and daily lives, and then join them for a shower. The whole experience is fun, meaningful, and very interactive. The staff are professional, take great care of the elephants, and the sanctuary places a strong emphasis on animal welfare. We visited the Kathu location, which is in the central part of Phuket. It’s easy to reach from Patong, Kamala, Kata and other popular areas, and most bookings include hotel pick-up and drop-off.If you’re visiting Phuket and want to get up close with elephants while supporting a place that treats them with respect and care, I definitely recommend Elephant Jungle Sanct
Meeting these gentle giants was amazing! We made snacks for them and fed them bananas before “taking a shower” with them. We got to spray them down with water. The guide was very informative.
Lovely experience. The elephants are rescued mostly from circus and carrying animal activities. They gave us a great introduction before we moved into the jungle. There was a 76 year old elephant and she was blind. Feeding her was a pleasure. Another elephant was dancing out of fear as she was in a circus before and it’s engraved in her mind. Seeing people touching the elephants wasn’t a pleasant thing. I think the only ethical experience is to feed them, not touching, or bathing. Also we were running late and they swiftly helped us to get into the next session. We appreciate the help and people working in the sanctuary
