Definitely worth it! It’s a hidden gem in Chongqing. The views were insanely beautiful. I took the train from Chongqing North to Fengjie. From there you can book a shuttle bus in the WeChat mini app (attached a pic of the app; smiley face with green background) from Fengjie high speed station to Wenfeng. I pre-booked it a couple of hours before and it’s fine but I went during early September so it’s not a busy season. You need a Chinese number to book it. They came to pick us up in a shuttle bus and headed to Wenfeng which took like 2.5hrs. Then from Wenfeng we had to wait for like 3 hours for the 4pm bus to Hongchiba (this was only because we didn’t pre-book the tickets and it’s slow season so less buses). I have attached the number to prebook tickets for both directions. Then from Wenfeng to Hongchiba was 1hr or so. Thankfully there were still flowers and it’s surreal; it’s cold up there and gets chilly at night so highly recommend to bring a jacket. It’s a cloudy day so no stars :(
