虎山長城介紹
虎山長城位於鴨綠江畔，與朝鮮隔江相望，是萬里明長城的最東端。景區內有城樓、長城、古棧道、睡觀音等多個代表性的景點，還有一座長城歷史博物館可以參觀。頂端的烽火台是虎山長城的最高處，這裡視野開闊，可以看到對岸朝鮮國的土地，還能遠眺“朝鮮八大景”之一的朝鮮統軍亭。

I recommend seeing the wall here! It’s much less crowded than Beijing. We were also the only foreigners so people were very friendly and wanted to take photos with us.
It’s quite a unique experience to be able to see the North Korea from here. Hiking up to the top is pretty easy and can be done in 30minutes.
Interesting and beautiful to visit. Great views of DPRK from the top tower. Bring binoculars! Part of the wall is very steep. Not suitable for everyone. At the end of the wall there was a shuttle bus that I could pay for (instead of walking back). Since the weather was hot I opted for the shuttle bus.
There’s something so beautiful about standing on the Great Wall and overlooking North Korea. My heart feels full of adoration and courage for its people and their culture. The scenery is beautiful, there aren’t too many bugs and the wall is very clean. The only gripe is the horrendous stairs that give your calf muscles a proper workout. I visited during the May holiday and while it was busy, if you arrive early ( 8am ) , you avoid the crowds and the sun too!!
My daughter, granddaughters and I enjoyed it very much. The hike is pleasant but if you are 60+ don’t forget to take water with you, and perhaps an unbrella for shade.
