虎跳峽（香格里拉段）介紹
虎跳峽以極大的落差聞名世界，位於香格里拉縣虎跳峽鎮東部，分為上、中、下虎跳三段，全長約20公里。峽谷中間就是金沙江，兩岸是玉龍、哈巴兩大雪山，江面最窄處僅二三十米，加上巨大的落差，江水奔騰洶湧。虎跳峽還是世界知名的徒步勝地，每年都會有很多慕名而來的戶外愛好者。

It was a worth visit. As a female solo traveler - I’ve headed to the said location and seeked help to where I could get the tickets and what bus to head over. Hence, just go to the yellow booth Scenic bus and redeem your ticket. In the ticket the bus plate no. is generated in there. It was a smooth ride going back to and/from and you may be able to enjoy the sceneries along the way. I was expecting to hike but unfortunately wasn’t able as it seems that there is a certain area where you shiuld be dropped off to (not sure as It’s hard to communicate). But then it was a chill walk and also experienced the escalator going up (expensive rather than the one going down).
This was the highlight of our **. We stayed at Naxi guesthouse the night before. We probably would have hiked the 2 hours in if we knew. Instead, we had taken a taxi from jade dragon snow mountain so we could spend more time there.we hiked the high travel, starting with the 28 switchbacks. We walked 3 hours to our next night at teahorse guesthouse. As the high trail has gorgeous views of the mountains but your a long way away from the river so that afternoon we hiked down the switchback road to the river. Unfortunately theirs a 2km tunnel in between us and the river park, so we waved down a car that took us through the tunnel so we could continue walking down to the river. You need a day pass to reach this point but it was worth it. Then the hike back up was tough but worth it. We got a ride back through the tunnel then hiked back up to teahorse guesthouse for the night. We loved our adventure down to the river, because at no other point could you really see it. Very nice services, very professional driver on the mountain road, very impressive scenery, only 3 tourists in the bus without cancellation, very delicious lunch like home cook and fresh from the kitchen, 2 thumbs up!!!
Redeem ticket at the counter. just show your passport and online booking. if from Lijiang, it's better to rent a car because it takes 1 and a half hours to arrive.
Stunning views of different sections of the Tiger leaping Gorge. From fast flowing to a raging, turbulent river with different formation of giant rocks in the middle. It was a nice experience except that it was freezing in winter with the strong winds.
