嵩山風景名勝區介紹
嵩山風景名勝區是中國五大名山之一，由太室山和少室山組成。這裡不僅擁有三皇寨、峻極峰等壯美的自然風光，還有天下名剎少林寺、中國四大書院之一的嵩陽書院、道教全真教聖地中嶽廟等一批人文歷史景點，這些都吸引了不少游客前來。

法王寺塔

則評價法王寺位於登封市嵩山風景區內。寺的北邊有一座古塔，被稱作“法王寺塔”。寺的東邊有唐宋磚塔。法王寺是較早的寺院之一，寺內保留的文物有古塔、古樹和石刻等。寺的東邊有峽谷，外形像半圓形的大門，稱作“嵩門”。每當中秋的時候，月亮從嵩門升起，在法王寺大殿月台上進行觀賞，可以看到明月置於嵩門之中，是登封佳景之一。
嵩陽書院

則評價嵩陽書院背依嵩山的峻極峰，面對雙溪河，兩側被山峰環抱，書院內外古柏參天，環境優美。進入大門後沿著中軸線步行向前遊覽即可，嵩陽書院內建築佈局保持著清代的風格，有幾件文物不得不看。唐代的碑、兩棵“將軍柏”都值得欣賞。在藏書樓中，“武后金簡”也值得一看。
太室山

則評價嵩山由太室山、少室山組成，太室山是嵩山的東峰，相傳禹王的妻子塗山氏生啟於此，山下建有啟母廟，故稱之為“太室”。太室山山勢陡峭，樹木蔥鬱，登上峰頂，西可以看見少室山，北可以看到壯麗的黃河，眼光所到的地方都是秀麗的風景。
峻極峯

則評價峻極峰即嵩山頂，峻極峰的景色比較獨特。沿著整齊的台階向上，路會一下子變得陡峭起來，爬過幾段非常陡峭的山路之後就來到了峻極宮。繼續向上，一直爬到白雲深處，這時便可體會到“嵩高峻極”的感覺。若遇上大霧，更有到了仙境的錯覺。
I didn’t know how much time I would want to spend here. It’s definitely a full day. I arrived by 9AM, and I left at 5PM feeling like I didn’t finish the ridge line hike along the mountain face at the top of the cable car. It was the most breathtaking hike I’ve ever done I also hiked up to the cave where Bodhi Dharma created Zen Buddhism. If those things interest you, you’ll want to arrive early and plan for both hikes
Cable car that gives access to the excellent plank walk around the mountain for views of a temple perched on the mountain edge. I had limited time and needed to return to the main Shaolin Scenic Area so I took the cable car both ways.
We loved this place. However it is best to arrive early for the shows as it is really difficult to get a good seat and then people try to squeeze it in front of you when you are seated. The walks were amazing though.
It was amazing visiting place where kung fu was born.
