It’s not just a tourist landmark; it’s still a living place of worship, with a peaceful, timeless feeling hanging over every courtyard.

Dazhao Temple is one of the most impressive cultural and religious sites in Hohhot. The temple grounds are peaceful, well maintained, and rich in history. I especially enjoyed the traditional architecture, beautiful decorations, and the calm atmosphere that makes it easy to slow down and appreciate the surroundings. The large Buddha statue and historic halls are worth seeing. The site is easy to explore in a few hours and offers great insight into local culture and Tibetan Buddhism. Overall, it was a memorable visit and excellent value for anyone interested in history, religion, or architecture.

One fantastic place to visit. I went first thing in the morning so I was more or less by myself the entire time.
