松花江流經哈爾濱市區的這一段，早已成為這座城市的重要景觀。每到冬季，冰封的江面上便成了人們的遊玩勝地。在冬季，凍得結結實實的松花江冰層大致有半米多厚，冰面上可以走人和馬車，很多積雪踩上去軟綿綿的。哈爾濱市內的這段江面寬約100多米，在靠近防洪英雄紀念碑的江面上有滑雪圈、滑冰道、打冰嘎、開雪地坦克、騎冰上自行車等遊樂項目，大人小孩都可以體驗。
We love the cableway ride too bad it was snowing when we took it so the view was not so fantastic. The walk in the Sun Island Park was great. No crowd and peaceful…perhaps because it was snowing haha. We recommend that you come to the cableway station and see if there is a queue first. We made the mistake of purchasing the skip the queue ticket which is double the price and there is no queue at all. Tickets can apso be easily purchased over the counter.

Perfect way to start your day touring around Songhua river. You can see the frozen Songhua river at a bird's eye view. I enjoyed the cable car as I was riding it alone. You can have a one way cable ride going to the Sun Island, then you can go to Harbin Polarpark next.
