Выставка расположена на 1-ом этаже музея. На ее осмотр надо около одного часа. На верхних этажах другие выставки. Они бесплатные.

Summer was an excellent guide. Our main purpose was to view the animation of the “Qing Ming” painting at the China Art Museum. She gave us a detailed and interesting explanation of the painting, which depicted life in a town by the river in early China during the Song dynasty. Summer was very knowledgable and explained the little nuances - the people, buildings, boats and animals in the painting. She also brought her own personal replica of the painting (which was 5-metre long) and used this to supplement her answers. Without a guide like Summer, I would not have been able to gain these deeper insights. The China Art Museum’s red building facade is impressive and is an iconic landmark as well. We visited on a weekday morning and fortunately, it was not crowded.

This was the 2nd museum I recently visited thinking it would be better than the first one but sadly not. There was only one small permanent exhibit that was free. The building was beautiful on the outside but absolutely nothing to shout about in the inside. We paid to visit the museum an exhibit on prints of master pieces around the world. What a waste of money and time.
