The gardens are definitely worth a visit and overall an amazing experience. It took me some time to find the entrance (I entered through the south gate) the garden itself and the guided tour provided by the park provided a lot of import context. Occasionally I also listened in on the tour groups for their explanations! I did do the afternoon, and while it was a bit crowded, it was still very manageable. I imagine the morning tour might be better if you prefer the garden to be less busy. Surrounding the garden there's also a whole " historical" shopping mall and other temples so those I spend the rest of the afternoon exploring

Jing'an Temple is a Buddhist temple located at No. 1686, Nanjing West Road, Jing'an District, Shanghai, China. Its history can be traced back to the Three Kingdoms period in the 3rd century AD. One of the four major Buddhist temples in Shanghai. Jing'an District, Shanghai is a wealthy area. Since Jing'an District is located in the center of Shanghai, the location advantage is extremely obvious. It is the only golden urban area in the city center where each district is located in the inner ring. Jing'an Temple, also known as Jing'an Ancient Temple, is located in Jing'an District, Shanghai. In the first year of Xiangfu in Song Dazhong (1008), it was renamed Jing'an Temple. In the ninth year of Jiading in the Southern Song Dynasty (1216), the temple moved into Lupu Boiling Jingbang (now Nanjing West Road) from the banks of the Wusong River, and the city was built earlier than Shanghai.

A nice place to experience old ShanghaiYu Garden is a relatively small garden, but it has many beautiful traditional Chinese-style ancient buildings and architecture. There is an entrance fee to enter the garden, so keep that in mind when planning your visit.Just next to the garden exit is the City God Temple, which is free to enter. If it is suitable for your religion and you’re comfortable with it, offering incense can be a nice cultural experience. Incense is provided free of charge at the entrance.The commercial area surrounding the garden and temple is also very lively, with plenty of shops, food and activities. There are several old traditional buildings around the area that are worth stopping to photograph.Overall, I think Yu Garden is worth visiting, especially if you want to experience a mix of traditional architecture, local culture and a lively commercial area. It’s also a good place to explore at a relaxed pace rather than expecting a huge garden.

10時ぐらいに向かい、列もなく非常に早く入場できました。中に入ると、映畫で見るような中國の歴史的な建物があります。雨の日だったのか人はあまりおらず、非常に快適でした。間違いなく最高の観光地で、上海を訪れるならここは必ず入れるべきです。価格も非常に安く、本當におすすめです。

This place was big but had many people. Very beautiful. It is also a wonderful place to shop once you leave outside the garden. Take a picture of the map so you do not miss anything.
