I was initially worried after reading some negative reviews, especially since I had a late check-in around 10pm. However, my experience turned out to be completely different. I contacted the staff via WhatsApp, and they were very responsive and helpful. The check-in process was smooth and completely hassle-free, which was a huge relief after a long day of travel. Considering the price and location in the city, I think it’s definitely worth it. The accommodation itself has a very creative and unique design, which adds to the overall experience. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would highly recommend it 👍

🚫 SCAM ALERT at Art Factory Soho, Buenos Aires 🚫 While staying at Art Factory Soho in Buenos Aires, a man contacted me via WhatsApp and told me I had to pay $50 before he would give me the code to my room. I asked other people who had stayed there, and they all confirmed: no one else had to pay any $50. That’s when I realized — this man was trying to scam me. This kind of thing should never happen at a hotel. There was no warning, no protection, and no accountability. I would not recommend staying here. You should feel safe when you travel — not targeted. I have attached screenshots for proof.

ArtFactory Soho Hotel Buenos Aires – The Worst Experience of My Life This place was an absolute nightmare from start to finish — truly a shock of my life. I booked a room and expected a simple check-in, but instead I was left stranded outside in the freezing cold with no way to get in. Why? Because they never sent me the door code ahead of time, and when I arrived, there was no one at reception to welcome me or even help. After waiting and trying repeatedly, I finally got a response through WhatsApp — only to be demanded to pay an extra $50 USD before they would hand me the key to the room I already paid for. When I asked other guests if they had to pay this scammy “fee,” they all said no, they never paid anything extra. But this guy was relentless, refusing to give me my key unless I paid up. Only after I told him that the other guests confirmed they didn’t pay did he “reluctantly” make an exception. It was painfully obvious he was trying to scam me — who even is this guy? I’m putting the phone number of the person responsible here so others can be warned about this blatant attempt to extort money: [******************]. And I attached screenshots of the conversation for proof. This is beyond pathetic. A hotel where you’re left out in the cold, with no code, no reception, and a shady staff member trying to extort an extra $50 for no reason. I had already paid for my room, yet this scammer tried to squeeze money out of me like I was some tourist with no choice. ArtFactory Soho is hands down the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. This scammer must be dealt with immediately!
