We went to the Gala and it was nice to stay somewhere away from the hustle and bustle of the City Centre. The room was a bit warm for the warm weather we had and the shower was hard to operate and get the temperature right. The bathroom was a bit small for a twin room. The service was great and the staff were helpful and friendly.
Clean, easy bus ride to and from town, great shower, pub attached.

Could do with a good update. Having radiator on ready for guests arrival would have been a nice touch, room was freezing at first. Breakfast was buffet style and a bit chaotic but got there in the end.

Hotel was very clean and the staff are very helpful and attentive, however, their kitchen appears to be understaffed. The breakfast served by a waiter/waitress but on the first day,(Saturday), after ordering our breakfast we waited one hour before it came, on the second day we waited 45 mins before it arrived. By this time the toast and tea were cold.
