My stay at the Lord Haldon Country Hotel was perfect for a stop over with my dog - fantastic walks outside the grounds. Reception and Bar staff extremely friendly and welcoming. I will certainly return.

Our superior king room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. Very large bathroom too with a large bath and separate shower cubicle. Bed was very comfortable and the room had lovely views. Staff were polite, friendly and helpful. We drove to the hotel from the A38 to the hotel and the lanes were narrow (as are many lanes in Devon and Cornwall) but the drive through Haldon Forest was beautiful. We drove out the other way through Ide village onto the A30 which was a bit wider! Would definitely stay again.
