Review: A Charming Tropical Escape at Grand Andaman Resort Rating: ★★★★☆ If you are looking for a destination that feels tucked away from the hustle and bustle, the Grand Andaman Resort offers a wonderfully rustic and welcoming atmosphere. The Atmosphere From the moment you arrive, the resort leans into its nautical and tropical identity. The iconic red boat signage (pictured) is a perfect example of the quirky, photo-worthy character found throughout the grounds. The lush greenery and well-maintained gardens create a peaceful canopy that makes you feel like you’ve truly escaped to an island paradise. What to Expect • Secluded Vibe: The resort feels integrated with nature. Expect to wake up to the sound of birds and the rustle of palm trees. • Photo Ops: The property is full of unique decor—like the repurposed boat—that makes for great vacation photos. • Service: The staff maintains a friendly, laid-back hospitality that fits the island setting perfectly.

Our stay was so lovely the owner (Jah) and her son, Best, made us feel right at home. They showed us around and gave us fantastic recommendations for where to eat and activities to do, she helped us hire a bike to get around since there isn’t grab or many taxis in the area. All the staff were so lovely and helpful. The location was also fantastic, beautiful views over the water and the national park was amazing to walk through. Also the cafe out front had fantastic food and coffee and was very well priced. All round amazing stay

The location is literally right next to the entrance of the National park. Keep an eye out for Dusky Langurs and you will see them. It’s a little farther from the pier but still just a ten minute tuktuk. Nice simple rooms with everything you need and a balcony to sit on. Coffee shop on premises. Breakfast buffet. I feel like the only thing you could complain about this place is it’s not a five-star hotel with a resort quality swimming beach and that’s what you were expecting for some bizarre reason. Excellent value at the price point. Also a super friendly host who speaks English well and was a lifesaver in helping us book and make our next connection. Thank you so much Auntie Jah!
