Second stay at Nightcap Riverside. Price point was my main motivation, I paid $130 for the night.
Rooms are very comfortable, clean, well equiped, well heated .Renovated.
Bed was very comfortable, black out blinds good. Hotel internet signal strong and good speeds. Location is about 5 kms north of the CBD, need a car. a 20 minute drive from the airport. Meals at the Riverside Tavern next door typical pub meals, large servings and reasonable quality. A small convenience store just across the road, a Woolworths supermarket about a 3 minute drive away. Some noise from the highway nearby, but quiet during the night. Fair bit of noise early ( circa 6 am on ) as early morning workers driving past, and quite a few “ tradies “ stay at Nightcap Riverside and start early. Didn’t bother me as I rise early also, but don’t expect a sleep in.
Overall, very good value for the price point.
The Wfi in the room is very poor, it has only 1 bar, as soon as it connected, it will dropped out straight away.
