膠囊住宅 (Capsule Residence)

The location was pretty good. The service(s) can be improved.

I had a very disappointing and uncomfortable experience at this capsule hostel. I arrived at 1:10 p.m. and was told that check-in was at 3:00 p.m., which was completely understandable. However, when I checked in after 3:00 p.m. and went to my assigned capsule, it was still not ready. The hostel also has very poor navigation. There were no clear signs showing where the exits, kitchen, or different capsule areas were, and no one explained the layout to me. Because of this, I accidentally used an emergency exit and ended up locked outside. The most disturbing incident happened at around 12:30 a.m. while I was sleeping. Someone knocked, and then a man opened my capsule. This made me feel extremely unsafe and was a serious violation of my privacy. Guests should be able to sleep without worrying that someone can suddenly open their capsule during the night. Overall, the hostel felt disorganized, poorly managed, and unsafe. Clear signage, proper communication, and better control over access to guests’ capsules are absolutely necessary. Pour dépanner c'est bien comme endroit. Ils ont des bouchons pour les oreilles. J'aime l'édifice. Les clients et ceux qui y travaillent sont gentils

Decently great stay. I would come back if I were to solo travel and had to stay somewhere downtown. Pros: - location: central, pretty, accessible, amazing. Local friends were impressed it was in such a central yet “nice” place in the middle of the city. - service: helpful, chill, nice staff. Available even at midnight. - design: fits the Montreal Aesthetic PERFECTLY. Inside old buildin, made modern, yet keeping the most beautiful old features restored. Just being here made it feel like I was staying at a nice place. Cons: - 50CAD is a bit steep for a hostel. But there was a jazz festival and it is Montreal during summer. - the lockers being inside the bottom floor room was a little loud. Easy to use but the noise of the opening doors was annoying - capsule size I am 193cm/6ft4. I did not fully fit inside the capsule. I had to lay “diagonally” and somewhat not fully relaxed. - heat: the “AC” is there but during summer it is not enough. It is doable but if you are sensitive to heat at night it is something to consider. You can always open the capsule doors and it is nice and cool but that is a personal choice. (P.S there is a remote for the TV behind the “cabinet”. If you miss it and accidentally turn on/off the main power of the capsule you may miss it)

如果不是為了體驗一下窮遊，我覺得還是住常規酒店或者民宿會更加符合中國人的習慣

環境很不錯

加上永安的積分最後衹需要付10多塊人民幣，原價100多。優惠力度做的很足。到現場呢其實發現也還不錯，位置很好，尤其是要做美國簽證的話。膠囊房間全封閉，隔音不錯。還算乾淨的。沖涼房也比較乾淨，熱水很足。

This may have been the worst capsule hotel I've ever stayed. The rooms where the capsules were located were disgusting. Dirty, with suitcases and shoes scattered everywhere, and a terrible smell. The space inside the capsule is actually decent, with clean sheets and comfortable pillow. But the walls are made of a thin wooden plate. The result is you can hear a lot of noise from the other capsules. And what a noisy place this room was! You could hear people slamming the capsule doors and stomping their feet at 2 a.m. I complained to the front office and heard that they couldn't do anything. Really? To complete all the mess, people vaping and smoking near the building and bringing smoke inside. Even with a clear note that you can't smoke within 9 meters from the building. I'm a world traveller and I spent a lot of time in capsule hotels in China, Japan, Brazil and Europe, and I can certainly tell that this was the worst experience. I'm so glad it was only for one night, that I could barely sleep. The only thing good about this place was the location, and that's it. Photos speak for themselves. Hopefully you can't feel the smell from it, you'd be sick.
