The hotel was very clean and stylish. Staff were helpful , they helped getting a taxi to the airport . The hotel is right next to Carmel market , and 15mins walk to the beach.

Cute hotel in nice neighborhood near many restaurants and the Carmel market. Helpful staff. I got a room upgrade. Good breakfast although every day the process was different..sometimes it was a buffet, other times they brought dishes to you. Weird. No spa or other facilities only a small outside courtyard and basic gym in the basement. Comfortable bed and nice bedding. Rooms have hard tile floors that were cold in winter.

Good hotel overall. Clean comfortable rooms and beds. When we visited it was still new, so many amenities weren't available. The main desk wasn't very helpful and couldn't even provide us with cutlery for the food we had with us. We supposedly got a room with a balcony, but it was on ground floor and said balcony was just a door within the room that accesses a shared backyard..

Hotel 1935 is a beautiful, clean, new “boutique” hotel with extraordinary staff and prime location in the heart of the city. The rooms have all the amenities of a world class hotel, including free WiFi, a safe for valuables, an amazing shower, compact refrigerator, Nespresso coffee machine (with as many pods as you need), air conditioning, modern lighting, and large screen internet-connected smart TV. The staff were all eager to help, friendly, and hospitable.  The hotel is new, and the restaurant has not opened yet.
