Incredible location if you want to stay in a neighborhood with a more local vibe, away from mass tourism. The room was very clean and had all amenities I needed. If there is one thing negative to say it would be that the shower darin smelled a bit. The ventilation took care of that so I wasn't bothered.

The main thing to consider before booking, this hotel is that the rooms have very poor sound insulation. I stayed on a lower floor and could hear every footstep from the room above. Unfortunately, the guest staying upstairs during most of my stay went to bed very late and walked around frequently, which made it difficult for me to get enough sleep for several nights. Early in the morning, the footsteps started again, making it even harder to rest. The hotel staff did their best to help by contacting the guest upstairs, and I appreciate their efforts. However, the noise continued, and the situation didn't improve. The only night I was able to sleep well was when the room above was unoccupied. Aside from the noise issue, everything else was very good. The room was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located just a short walk from Nakano Station. The check-in process was also straightforward and easy. If soundproofing were improved, I would have had a much better experience.

ok so i did find communication prior to checking in questionable and a tad confusing.. nonetheless, i couldnt recommend this place enough. location was perfect. no notes. the pictures are accurate. room was clean and had all the amenities needed. my only comment would be how thin the walls are. you will be able to hear others entering, moving around/shuffling their luggage and footsteps - BUT that is out of the owners control. so it really depends on whose staying within the property. overall, i wouldnt hesitate booking the stay again. in fact i wanted to extend my booking but they were all booked out ＜/3
