What a journey. From the very moment when you realise your accommodation is in the darkest back alley of Aberdeen, hidden behind back doors of multiple restaurants in a rather shady looking bit, everything goes downhill from then. Once you find the door that someone definitely was trying to kick in at some point you will notice telephone numbers scribbled with a marker pen on the walls everywhere. Pretty much none of them worked to summon a host. Eventually I got hold of someone who could not comprehend that I made a reservation through 永安. Loads of back and forth. Then I was instructed to go to the top floor and find a red bucket with some debris where keys were kept. He told me to grab one key and go to the room which was located in an unlit corridor of something that looked like a squat, piles of random stuff everywhere. So upon opening the door it turned out the room wasn't done up after the previous departure, or perhaps someone who ran away. Chap on the phone told me to just grab the other key and find "clean" room So after finding one I just locked myself inside and started to reconsider my life choices. I dared to have a look inside the pillowcases and under the bed sheet. This made me sick so I grab my sleeping bag from a car, bring your own. If it wasn't late in the evening I would definitely go somewhere else at this point. I've seen cleaner showers at festivals but what made me laugh was a microscopic amount of heavily diluted hand soap and sliver of toilet paper from some sort of a industrial/catering dispenser, definitely scraps from one of the restaurants below. Then I heard someone trying to check in over the phone for a very long time and got turned away due to some nonsense miscommunication. in the end I think, poor dude left, better for him for sure. Didn't dare to use any of the kitchen facilities, woke up and got out as quickly as possible. Never bothered to ask about private parking that was advertised, all lots at the back of the building were unlit and shady as anything. Parked on the street under the brightest of lamps. Good spot if you are young lad wanting to collapse after night of boozing maybe when you do not care about anything. Other than that, wow, just wow. I still want to disinfect my eyeballs after what I saw. There is a reason why this is so cheap in such a central location.

The address advertised is incorrect. I walked to the address on Union Street and had to Google search the actual location. The accommodation was actually in an alley on Rose Street at the opposite end of Union Street. When phoning the property, it was a London number, not Aberdeen. I had to find the property down an unmarked alley and a mobile number was on the door. Fortunately, the maid was pleasant and helpful.

Not great if you have a buggy, lady who deals with you is friendly and the room it's self was nice but bathroom needs better cleaning as hairs was all over the shower. Overall its decent for the price
