Arrived to be greeted by really friendly staff. I was permitted to enter the room slightly early which was appreciated. Unfortunately there was no hot water to the shower necessitating a room change. The alterative room was satisfactory, but personally I found the bed too soft and the bathroom light persistently kept randomly illuminating through out the night.

Great stop over location close to Stonehenge on way back from Cornwall. Quick friendly check in and a lovely breakfast. Nice bed and a great sleep, the next door disco was a little loud but nothing compared to the neighbours at home. Didn't stop a weary traveller sleeping, and all quiet in the morning. Room well equipped with bed side plugs including usb chargers, iron, kettle etc, towels, shampoo/body wash, and a few more. Garden was lovely and well cared for. Interesting building with a lot of old features and changes over the years, which needs a lot of upkeep, and some areas need a little more time and money spent on them. Didn't spoil it for me and would stay again. I know the issues that come with old buildings with character.

Good location. Very Clean and feeling comfort. Room side is good. Opposite the public car park, easy to find and convenient to access the hotel. Very good price, will book again.
