If精品酒店 (If Boutique Hotel)

A small boutique hotel in busy Amsterdam. It’s a little off the beaten track & yet central & walkable to all the major attractions. We like the location, room is tiny but adequate for a short stay. Deco is pleasant & modern. Basement lounge area is nice. Free coffees & teas are particularly welcoming. The only snag is possibly concierge is only manned for a short number of hours a day. Guests can fumble with trying to get in during off hours. It’s particularly the case with guests who are not so familiar with tech & modern way of booking & checking in.

 everything is excellent , the design of the the room , lobby and small garden ,cleanliness and the location is also good .  unfortunately we went there during the sunny day, it was hot , and there is no air condition inside.

The accommodation was lovely however upon arrival there was an extremely strong odour in our room. The smell appeared to come from the sewage from the bathroom. The smell was very overpowering and ruined our overall experience. The room otherwise was clean, good location and had the basic amenities minus a personal fridge in your room - shared communal fridge in reception area, which unfortunately had a very strong and fowl odour. Overall as we only stayed 2 nights it was tolerable however, the smell in the rooms was very unpleasant.
