Soko at Kedungu Overall Rating: 5/5 Soko at Kedungu is a hidden gem for those seeking a peaceful escape in Bali, blending serene seclusion with thoughtful luxury. Tucked away just a 5-minute drive from the stunning Kedungu Beach, its remote location offers tranquility without feeling isolated, perfect for unwinding after a day of surfing or exploring. There are plenty of cafe around. The hotel’s exterior follows a classic two-story design, unassuming from the outside. Step inside, however, and you’re greeted by an exceptionally beautiful interior: warm wood accents paired with rich terracotta tones create a cozy, elegant vibe that’s both modern and rooted in local craftsmanship. Amenities are comprehensive and top-notch. Our room was equipped with premium everything, from high-end linens to smart tech. Flushing the toilet? Just tap a button on the remote control (a fun, futuristic touch). The rain shower was a highlight: oversized head with powerful, invigorating flow that made mornings blissful. The soap and shampoo was high end quality, with a drop of shampoo your whole head will covered by fluffy thick foam with a nice cleaning calm scent. The king-sized bed was enormous and incredibly comfortable for two, with a mattress that brilliantly absorbs movement, you won’t feel a thing if your partner tosses and turns. The down pillows were plush and supportive, ensuring deep, restful sleep. The staff deserve special praise: always helpful, genuinely warm, and full of smiles that make you feel like family. And don’t miss ‘Dut-Dut,’ the laziest cat in Bali, he’s the unofficial mascot, lounging around and adding irresistible charm to the property. The infinity pool looking at the paddy field is an extra feature that pleased me. There is also a pantry right beside the pool for relaxing coffee or tea. You can enjoy your coffee while relaxing on the chair. One minor downside for drivers: accessing the hotel requires navigating a narrow alley that fits just one car at a time. It’s manageable but worth noting if you’re in a larger vehicle or rushing. In summary, Soko at Kedungu delivers exceptional value in design, comfort, and service. Highly recommended for couples or solo travelers craving a stylish, low-key Bali retreat. I’d return in a heartbeat!

Love this place a lot! The place is so large, clean and modernised with good designs and amenities. With Bluetooth speakers, filtered water to refill in public area (so you will not get Bali belly!). Everything is nice! One thing to note is hotel is inside a lane, so your grab/taxi cannot reach to the hotel entrance directly. You have to walk around 5 mins with your luggage. Which is fine for me but you may take this into consideration.

房間本身無可挑剔，非常安靜，設施也都很好用，自動智能馬桶，戴森等等。在衞生/環境/設施方面我給滿分。 但是服務的流程非常差，我們三間房間入住，入住登記時間長達一個小時，依然排錯房間，沒給早餐券。 早餐券給得隨心所欲，去前台要也搞不清楚情況，不願意給，讓人再花錢買。 我在前台等入住（因為等了長達一個小時），坐在旁邊的一塊板材上，板材塌了，我也摔傷了，酒店還要求我賠償了500元（我體重112斤）。 還有早餐店在距離酒店步行10分鐘的位置。
