The family who runs this place is truly very nice and caring so i feel bad writing this review. The place is literally a 20 mins walk into the forest and out in the middle of nowhere. It is not where google maps says it is so be mindful. The room itself was not bad but we did have a gecko in the bathroom and spiders falling from the wall onto the bed. The host did help out w the gecko/ lizard thing and assured us it would not come back but we just blocked off the bathroom with our towels and bags to be sure. This place could be nice if you are used to camping / nature. In fact it has a very unique charm if you’re into that sort of thing. However for those who do not really like that then stay away from this place. In fact only come to penida for a day 永安 because most places on the island is like this.
