First of all, I am really upset about the attitude of front desk. He seems the boss there and showed unconcern about customers. I came into the hostel and showed him the passport, he said ok wait, then had a longtime phone call. I don’t know how busy millionaires are. The check in process can be done in 2 minutes, but he continued phone call at least 15 minutes rather than proceed check in since the customer had a long time flight need rest. Since the millionaire had no time to deal with me, I said my plans had changed and I wanted to leave, and I didn't get my money back. Although the money is small, it makes people very uncomfortable. Secondly the AC opens limited time. I barely write comments like this, but this hostel deserves it .

Considering the price, it was quite good value for money. However, I think there is still room for improvement. On the day of my stay, I woke up at around 8:00 AM and felt very hot. It seemed that the hotel had already turned off the air conditioning, even though guests were still staying in the room and had not checked out yet. If the hotel wants to save electricity, it would be better to wait until guests have checked out before turning off the power, cleaning the room, and shutting down the air conditioning. Also, the lower bunk was available, but I was assigned to the upper bunk. The air conditioning did not reach the upper bed very well, so it was quite hot and uncomfortable.

I stayed at Youyen Hostel DMK recently. The room and bathroom were reasonably clean, which was good, and they also provided shampoo and shower gel. However, there were a few things that could definitely be improved. When I arrived in the afternoon, I had to wait around 30 minutes because nobody was at the reception. There were also other guests waiting at the same time. During my stay, I noticed the reception desk was often empty, so getting help usually meant waiting for someone to come back. The breakfast was quite basic, more like a light snack than a proper breakfast. Another issue was the air conditioning, which does not run all the time and only works during certain hours. The shower in my bathroom was also broken. Overall, the hostel is decent for a short stay near DMK airport, especially if you just need a budget-friendly place, but the service and facilities could be managed better.
