I had a really wonderful time in the great location of Beechworth.  From Beechworth I drove to other great points of interest namely Yackandandah and Bright. I walked along the Canyon Walk in Bright, followed along the Beechworth Gorge and the Woolshed Falls.  The Sambell Lake had a very good walking track around it. Both Beechworth and Yackandandah had great shops and eateries. The Armour Motor Inn was very central for my 3 day stay and the host was very helpful.

Armour is a very nice motel. The service is speedy and friendly. The facilities provide for everything that we need. Cafes and restaurants are nearby.

We enjoyed the family room. It was clean, we could park right outside (each room has a reserved spot) and everything was comfortable. In winter each bed had an electric heating pad so that was comfortable. Walking distance to everything in town!
