The Residence Bintan is located quite on the far side of Bintan, especially if you are coming from Singapore. Once you reach the resort, it is quite a calm and tranquil place. Our experience was loving, and we got the buggy to get to various spots across the resort, even though after 2 days we realise the resort isn't too big to walk around either.

Everything was superb, the staffs, amenities, food. It’s just the location and the travelling there. They provide free bus ride but the ride is an hour and very rocky and shaky. Not a dealbreaker and can be negligible for the other part of the stay to make it up. There are 2 bicycles outside our apartment to go around. Free buggy service. The pool was amazing, ping pong, the kerupuk was superb, the morning breakfast as well.

The residence bintan was hidden gem. Even thought the location a bit off was 90 minutes of journey from ferry terminal but once we into the resort it was like another world. They provide services pickup and drop off from terminal to resort. They have a lot of activities inside hotel which means we no need to go out. The rooms was big, clean and nice it is worth the price we paid. Food was tastefully but the price at higher side to be honest. They even provide 2 bicycles per room which convient for us to move around in the resort even thought they provide buggy. The hospitality from theirs staff was exceptional. Thanks the residence bintan for their services given to us.

Had a relaxing holiday of 3D2N at The Residence Bintan. Enjoy the food and massage spa in the resort. Though food are slightly pricey but the taste are great due to the ingredients are fresh. Bicycles are provided for each room to travel within the resort. Will come back again for a relaxing 永安.

Came here with my mother and we both loved it, the service was impeccable from the very start to the end. Everything was smooth, when they picked us up from the ferry terminal we were greeted with cookies and a cold towel. Upon reaching, everyone was so helpful and it was convenient to get around as we just had to call or drop a text and a buggy would be sent to pick you up and bring you wherever u want. With every room, you get two very nice bicycles for you to go around and explore. They plan lots of activities so you definitely won't be bored, some of the complimentary ones include free yoga, kayaking, stand up paddling, etc. The paid ones were also very worth it, the spa massage was just lovely. They even hang a hammock in your room upon request and it was my favourite place to relax. The room itself was very clean and spacious. What surprised was me that every night they would place complimentary traditional snacks and a little bed time story of a traditional tale in your room (We got kueh lapis and Kue Bingka Ubi), we did not know about this so we were super happy, felt like every detail was well thought of. Additionally, I was celebrating my mother's birthday and they surprised us with a cake and lovely set up on the bed. There were quite a bit of insects but can't be helped if you want to enjoy the beauty of nature. They do take utmost care against this with each room including a tray of insect repellant, coil that is free to use and we also learnt that everyday they fumigate the place and spray it down twice to reduce insects. The complimentary breakfast had such a good spread too and their on site pool bar and restaurants were all delicious. I usually do not write reviews but this was such a beautiful experience, I had to write this. I would love to give my thanks to all the lovely staff for such a good experience. We will definitely be back!

Highly recommend for those who want to relax. Location is secluded, away from city centre. Nonetheless complimentary activities were provided such as kayaking, stand up paddling. Kind and warm hospitality from all the staff. They were extremely helpful and go out of their way to make you feel welcomed. Room and amenities were spotless (except for a few lizards outside our room, which we didn’t mind). The resort offers breathtaking views and bicycles were provided for you to explore the resort. Perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway.

The Residence Bintan is a great place to relax and a nice getaway from Singapore. It's a bit far, but the transportation was smooth, with free cookies and water on the bus. The rooms were big, and the bikes provided were fun—my husband and daughter enjoyed riding around. There were also some fun activities for kids. This resort stands out as one of the best I've experienced in recent memory! It boasts a beautiful environment and rooms that are both aesthetically pleasing and well-appointed. The staff consistently provided helpful and polite service. I particularly appreciated the complimentary bicycles for convenient travel within the resort. The food quality was also impressive. What solidified my positive experience was their outstanding service recovery: upon discovering a minor termite issue in my first room, they promptly upgraded me to a Seaview suite. This impeccable service ensures I'll be back for another retreat!

A nice quiet resort that is a very good place to relax and bond with my family. Love that they have complimentary activities like paddle board and Kayaking.The game room that my family spent quite a bit of time there due to the weather. The super funny and friendly staff at the boat house.I was very surprised that the resort was so big but the bikes and buggy services that were provided really are helpful in travelling around the place. The food at the restaurants was good and fresh. The staff was friendly and at the end of the day having the manager and staff waving goodbye as we left gave a lasting impression. Appreciate the hospitality and good services:)
