Well the hotel was near the beach but the lights would be turned off when the guests were not in the Lobby. It has an odd feel that was a bit of a ghost town. The walls were thin and the neighbouring guests could be heard. If there was intercourse happening, that would certainly have been audible. Pool was mostly empty on the roof and the lights were off at night and we had to wait for the engineer to turn it back on. Entertainment room was in a bad state. They need to fix it.

First night was okay, room is spacious and staffs are friendly. HOWEVER, on the second night, aircon in both rooms spoiled at 3+ am, and we got allocated to other rooms at 4:40 am as they cant seem fix it but the both aircons in the other rooms broke down too after 30 mins. So it was stuffy….mosquitoes came in… and we cant sleep at all. Other than that, it was an okay stay.

Hotel was clean and located in the Lagoi resort area which is where we wanted to be, however the hotel seems old, the gym was a sad excuse with just dumbbells, order food at the rooftop cafe, quiet flavourless, service was good despite the hotel being empty but was still asked to check in at 3pm or pay IDR200k luckily this was not much of an issue as we had activities arranged, that said the room was comfortable enough however the AC stopped working the last night I was there and didn’t come on again causing me to lose sleep.

我覺得房間真的很乾凈，床也非常舒服這是我去的所有酒店裡麪，床最舒服的一個酒店服務人員也很有禮貌，態度很nice 酒店早餐也非常美味總之就是10/10 來bintan旅遊可選！～

Ich konnte sehr gut im Hotel schlafen. Früstueck reicht auch für den ganzen Tag aus. Publikum meistens aus Singapur. Die Lage von Lagoi ist zum Teil abgelegen, keine Stadt in der Nähe. Begrenzte Ausgehemöglichkeiten

Overall, the Grand Lagoi Hotel Bintan offers a decent stay, particularly if you're travelling with family and looking for good value. The definite highlight was the room itself. We found it to be spacious, well-maintained, and comfortable, providing plenty of room for everyone. The bathroom was also quite good – clean and functional. For the price point, the quality of the accommodation felt very reasonable. However, there were a few areas that could be improved. While the hotel boasts a rooftop bar and restaurant, we found it to be noticeably expensive. Guests should budget accordingly if planning to dine or drink there frequently. The breakfast included with the stay was unfortunately not very impressive, lacking variety and quality compared to what we might have expected. Location-wise, it's a bit of a mixed bag. The hotel is near the Lagoi Bay area, but we found the water at the nearby beach wasn't particularly clean during our visit. It's also important to note that the hotel is quite far from the main town centres like Tanjung Pinang, so accessing local eateries or shops requires transport and planning. The staff were generally okay – they handled requests adequately, but didn't particularly stand out for exceptional service. In summary: Grand Lagoi Hotel Bintan is a solid choice if your priority is a large, comfortable room at a reasonable price, making it suitable for families. However, be prepared for potentially high costs at the rooftop restaurant, a basic breakfast offering, a beach that might not be ideal for swimming, and a location that's relatively isolated. If you manage expectations regarding dining and location, it can be a pleasant base for your Bintan 永安.

酒店位置位於民丹島的拉古窪灣海邊，周邊分佈着許多高檔酒店，環境優美，一邊是海一邊是湖，旁還有一座配套的商務中心，有餐廳和小超市，雖然像一個商務酒店，但屋頂上也還是配有泳池和餐廳，能夠滿足一般的度假休閑需求，最主要的是比周邊酒店要便宜一些。

It was a perfect spot. Near Holiday Inn and Hotel Indigo. Next to Lagoi Plaza. Accessible to the beach and mall. There are e-bikes which we could rent at SGD 20 per hour. Right behind the hotel there is a HUGE lake and i mean it, HUGE. We rented the e-bike to explore the area and the lake until my e-bike battery went down to one bar. Hahaha.. But it was an awesome experience. The pool however would be good if they have a heater. It was soooooo cold.

Breakfast doesn’t have much choices. Pretty far from ferry terminal but they have free shuttle service. Near nice beach. Room not very sound proof.
