立方酒店 (The Cube Hotel)

Excellent hotel, sleek by design, good quality rooms, and beautiful views. We will 100% be booking again as frequently in Birmingham. This is in my Top 2 hotels in the city based upon our experience on Friday.

We booked CubeHotel for a couples’ 永安 and were initially welcomed by a very friendly and professional receptionist at check-in (3 PM on 31st July). First impressions were great. However, once we entered the room, things took a turn. The room was extremely hot, and the air conditioning didn’t work properly for hours. Despite multiple attempts to contact reception, the bar, and room service — no one answered. We had to stay in that hot room with no support, which ruined much of our evening. The next day (01st August), when checking out, we tried to inquire about a payment issue, but the receptionist was extremely rude and dismissive — a complete contrast to our check-in experience. We felt disrespected and ignored. Unfortunately, this poor customer service and lack of responsiveness completely overshadowed what could have been a good stay. I do not recommend this hotel based on our experience.

Reception staff is very poor. I asked, "What time is check out?"reception staff member: " :You want chicken ?" Not just one but twice . On checking, demanding email, mobile number, and address. When I said , "You already have this informed ." I was informed they didn't my information, which was false. I had already received a number of emails from the Cude prior to booking in , with all this informed on the email. Michael

Lovely hotel in an amazing location ruined by ‘sauna like’ hotel room, due to broken air con (which apparently had been broken for several months). Disappointing that we weren’t told in advance of this, then we would have had the choice to book another hotel. When we complained shortly after arrival we were told a maintenance guy would come up and fix it. He fiddled with the air con settings and we were told that it had been reset and would work in an hour. We went for a walk and came back to a just as hot room. When we questioned the reception staff they said the hotel was fully booked and we couldn’t change rooms, and that we weren’t the only people having this problem. I think this was a lie as the hotel seemed quiet, why not be honest? What I didn’t understand was how come there was air con in reception but not in the hotel rooms? The restaurant at breakfast was empty, but the food was lovely and the staff were really helpful. Shame as there is so much potential for this hotel, but I won’t be staying there again until the hotel owners make some changes and put the customers first.

空調壞的，給倆風扇，風小還吵，房間又悶又熱，很不舒服，應該賠我點錢……不如國內的格林豪泰、漢庭啥的。

舒適度空間大，比起倫敦性價比很可以了。步行15分鐘吃到了德陽正宗川菜！推薦大家去吃蜀香園哈！回來路徑小超市可以買東西。早晨起來的景色很美啊！物價比起倫敦便宜不少！一個烤魚便宜10磅左右！

這酒店改名字了 如果不是英迪格那就算了 早餐不錯 其他就算了 英國到處都是坑 孩子在這裏求學不容易

The lOCATION was very convenient; as their was easy access to Birmingham Wharfside and Mailbox, leaving me with many restaurant options. For those that love to travel into the city to shop this is the perfect location due the Bullring was around a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Upon arrival there was know one at reception to check us in; we waited approximately 5 minutes before a staff member arrived. However the staff member that attended to us we very polite at and helpful. Good SERVICE The hotel rooms itself had an innovative modern style. The bed was very comfortable and linen was beautifully textured, they were also very considerate with towel as they insured that spare towels where provided. I must say the the the rooms were very CLEAN I was also very pleased with the robes that were provided. Contrary to all theses great factors the corridors within the complex are in some much need of a refurb. Apart from the hotel rooms there was no other AMENITIES because unfortunately the guest !NO LONGER HAVE ACCESS TO THE SPA! due to its closure earlier this year. This was very misleading due to the fact that the hotels unique selling point and main advertisement focus was the spa.
