伯明翰中心宜必思快捷酒店 (Ibis Budget Birmingham Centre)

Booked a 永安le room with one double and a high-bed. The high-bed hadn’t fresh bed clothes - after complain to the receptionist, he just said that’s usual not to change the bed clothes their, because usually people don’t use it. Instead of change the bedding, he just gave me some extra bed clothes to change ourselves. During 9 days stay, the floor was never wet cleaned and all the bed clothes never changed! Also when I requested after 6 days, the receptionist replied to change, but nothing happened. Very poor and minimalistic environment. People don’t care about the guests!

Booked threw 永安 was easy enough to book, arrived at hotel they said there was no booking for me got sorted eventually, went to room basically as expected bedding was ok but the shower was dirty, sink had hair in it and the heating ac unit had dust hanging out of it but done for the night had no towels had to ask for one

Having a twin room for my teenage daughter and myself should have a slightly more private shower area, it was quite awkward! A double room would be understandable for such visibility but not twin! The ‘breakfast’ that was included that is usually £8.50 per head was appalling and I was not the only customer surprised! The Orange juice was sweetened squash, no cooked food (breakfast is not described anywhere online or in any booking information so unfortunately it’s assumed that cooked food would be available, I rang in advance to ask what time breakfast started, and mentioned my daughter liked a hot brekkie when we visit Birmingham for hospital appointments, but was not told even at that point that no cooked food would be available), cardboard bread that was being liberally manhandled (no tongs) cereal smelled old, bowls of yogurt were dried at sides, fruit bowls also drying out on top and the only thing I could stomach was a cup of tea that tasted like the coffee/hot water machine had never been cleaned. I left with an empty stomach, and my daughter ate a croissant. Not worth paying for so it was luckily included, although not so lucky for the paying customers.

The price of the room was competitive though it was a bit of distance from the train stations and silent to walk alone at night.

It is a nice hotel, the breakfast is good too, it is walking distance from city Centre and the train station

Great location with the train station, China Town, and the Bullring shopping centre all within an easy walk. The room is basic, bed, bathroom, TV and desk. The staff are very helpful and friendly.

Room is tiny but all necessary amenities are included. Beds are comfortable, the water is hot enough for a cozy shower and the air conditioning is working well. Staffs are friendly. Sufficient and economical on-site parking provided. A bit noisy at night caused by other guests though, bringing earplugs may be a good idea for those sensitive sleepers.

bed is horrible, shower in bathroom is inconvinient , bathroom so small, service is bad, from 11pm to morning , hotel s so noisy with people knocked door crazily and screaming 5-6 times, never back again
