勞頓酒店 (The Lawton)

Great little hotel in a perfect spot for Blackpool promenade and specifically Blackpool Tower. Staff were great and really helpful, shame the road it’s on feels a bit unsafe!

Upon arrival to the property during the evening, the main entrance was locked and required a keycard to enter. I had to call the property reps to instruct how to enter the building and also, I required parking. I entered the building after the door was unlocked. Went to reception, waited a short while before someone came to process my check-in. I registered my vehicle on the terminal and paid the parking fee (£12). The rep assured me that I could park until midnight the following day but this was not the case when I checked out the following morning. They gave me until 3pm but this was no good for me so I had to move my vehicle to a nearby parking lot (£6.20 for 9 hours). Check-in process was quick, had to fill in a form and sign it. Got given two keycards and got directed to our room. I was also directed where to park my vehicle, which was an off-site parking area located at their nearby sister-property. After parking up and returning to the property, our room was quite small and was located at the back near the fire exit on the 1st floor. Corridors were quite narrow. There was a lift to get us to the 1st floor. The room had an en-suite which again was quite narrow but usable. The room had a window overlooking the rear of the building. Cleanliness of the room were ok but carpet might need some deep clean, towels seem a little dirty and luckily there were no signs of bed bugs. The room was warm when we first entered but I think it was on a timer so during the night, it is off. Hot water was ok. Neighbouring rooms could be heard however. Floorboards creek when trod upon. For one night, the room was sufficient. Breakfast was standard English, portion were small but included in the price, can go large for extra £3. Taste was ok. In general, staff were very friendly, the building is quite dated but accommodates many guests. Depending on the guests, it may be noisy within the neighbouring rooms. Overall, it is ok for short stay and location is not too bad which is a few streets away to the Winter Gardens.

Not clean, fire alarms going off in the night. Roasting no fans available. Couldn't swing a cat in the room. Would never return.

This hotel has everything that we need for a family travelling to Blackpool over the weekend - but please remember to bring your own slipper as the carpet feels quite old so I would be concerned to step on it with bare feet

Had a great stay friendly helpful staff . Clean and as described couldn’t ask for more .

服務幾好，衞生也不錯，只是酒店比較舊小小，但係可以接受，他的地理位置非常方便，下次有朋友來黑色池，我也會推薦我的朋友入住盧Lawton hotel ，惟一不接受，他們沒有車位可以泊車過夜。

Nice little hotel. Breakfast was good. Very friendly staff. Only thing was our room and bathroom was very small but clean.
