Hotel staff were very friendly, so helpful and accommodating, esp as we were travelling with our dog. Lovely food n nice to have special dog friendly tables in the restaurant

The hotel is fine for a short 永安. A little bit dated and some of the basics were missing though. For example no shampoo or iron in the room.

The hotel is very clean and the staff helpful The view upon the front is great It is possible that it was just my room but the road was noisy until late at night I would be happy to use the hotel again

The Carlton has a lovely atmosphere. The staff are amazing, very helpful and eager to please. The room was comfortable but the TV was faulty. There was no kettle in the room which was easily remedied. There was no mat for inside the shower which made the shower very slippy especially for the elderly who are unstable. Breakfast was good, the staff made sure we well spoilt. We were very annoyed at the £5 parking fee which included Blue Badge holders. We very rarely pay to park. Our son who visited did not have to pay for parking which is ludicrous. We have already payed to stay there!! The bar prices were very over the top, £6.35 for a bottle of beer. This does not encourage us to spend money there. We are ordinary pensioners. That’s far too much!! It’s greedy.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Carlton.The staff was so friendly and couldn’t do enough.The breakfast was excellent.Comfy beds.Will be staying here again.Oh and the hot chocolate was delicious.

Great location on seafront, easy parking £5 until midday next day. Good buffet breakfast with vegetarian options in a dining room with sea view. Rooms are noisy, very thin walls and you can hear every word of people walking past in the corridor so take earplugs. Would stay again though, the staff are all very good and the place is nice and clean.
