葉肯德爾旅館 (The Kendall)

Hadn't stayed at The Kendall for several years, so was looking forward to this 永安. This is an older, historic property so I knew what to expect. It was nice to see that the bar and restaurant were open. The renovation was done really well. The outdoor patio offered a very nice view. The room, however, was a disappointment. The gap around the door barely allowed the lock bolt to catch. It also allowed an awful lot of light in the room. The bed or the room tilted so the foot end of the bed was higher than the head end. The mattress, and I use the term loosely, felt as old as I am. Reminded me of the feather beds at my grandma's hose as it caused you to roll to the middle of the bed. The shower in the old claw foot tub sprayed water over the shower curtain onto a bookshelf that was hanging on the wall and soaked the few items we had placed there. Thankfully, the supply of towels in the room was enough to clean up the water on the floor. The large water bug didn't seem to mind the added moisture. I really like this motel. I hope the owners will take the time to notice the little things that make staying at an older property enjoyable.
