Was ok, quite expensive for what it was. We didn't have breakfast but our friends did and it was nothing to write home about. Friendly staff though

No tv. Very little furniture. Only one pillow. Head board of bed made from rubbish. Bar closed. Restaurant closed. Place is quite shoddy. Interior painting is very rough and without correct preparation. More of a backpackers than a hotel. Took an hour to find the place, it has no sign writing at all on the exterior, apart from one small sign at the front door which apparently was its previous name. The last comment was probably the worst feature.

Note that not all floors are accessible via the elevator. The building is located near the beach. The views maybe disappoint. Walls are thin, so if your neighbors argue, you'll hear it. The rooms are in good nick, with a good bed, shower and toilet. Housekeeping skipped our room and we had to ask for new towels at reception twice, which was disappointing. We didn't try breakfast. There's a convenience store that is open late across the street, and no fewer than three Thai restaurants in the street. Probably not recommended for twenty year olds or parents with kids (need to keep it down!) or for the older set (lack of amenities besides a kettle, hair dryer and wifi). Good for a couple's weekend getaway with activities about town.

I visited with my granddaughter for her birthday treat , unfortunately it was the weekend of the bad storm . We were disappointed there was no TV in the room or anywhere else in hotel , also the bedroom window didn't close properly and the wind and rain howled in all night . The staff were lovely and we enjoyed our breakfast , although again we were disappointed the restaurant wasn't open and we had to brave the storm to get our evening meal .

My second stay at Selina with my partner, last valentines it was great but this time we had our anniversary. They had a better room available so upgraded us to a seafront room. But the room was absolutely freezing and the radiator was on a timer so it was off when we got back to the room around 11pm onward. The windows were really drafty and loud from the wind and rain outside and the duvet was thin. Pretty room and nice staff but pity about the stay. Not the best for a winter anniversary 永安.
