經典British style，酒店裝修有些年頭了，整體設施比較老舊，尤其衞生間的水龍頭設備等用起來很不方便。

The room air conditioner wasn’t working when we checked in and they didn’t have anyone to fix it in the evening so we had to spend the night without it that was not very convenient.

I feel like the cleaning service could have been better. Dirty towels left behind, cleaners forgetting their phones in the room, coming in to clean even if do not disturb sign placed and on checkout day before checkout time. It was very expensive for what was offered to be honest

Very friendly and helpful staffs. We did ask them for extend one hour and they managed to do it. Will stay again.

Enjoyed our stay here with the kids now time to move to our other hotel booked 😜

The hotel is conveniently located and close to everything, which is a big plus. However, the overall condition of the property feels quite dated. The taps weren't functioning properly, and the washroom could definitely use better maintenance.

Having visited Cardiff numerous times and stayed in various hotels, I must say my experience at Novotel Cardiff Central was regrettably the worst to date. The challenges began before I even arrived. Due to train delays, I was unable to check in at the expected time. I made multiple attempts to contact the hotel—via email and phone—to inform them of my delay and secure my booking, but unfortunately, there was no response or opportunity to connect with staff. Upon finally arriving at the hotel, I requested at reception whether my late check-in could allow for a slightly later check-out as a courtesy. The staff member informed me that late check-out was available, but only at an additional charge. When I inquired further about the possibility of an exception, I was met with a terse response: “This is the policy.” While I understand the need for policies, I found this approach to be rather inflexible and lacking in customer care. To my dismay, the staff member then turned to his mobile phone, leaving me feeling dismissed and undervalued as a guest. The issues did not end there. The floor we were staying on was incredibly noisy, with children running across the corridors yelling, some inappropriately undressed. Several times, our door was banged on loudly, disturbing my family, including my young child, who struggled to get any rest that night. It was a particularly disappointing experience, especially during what should have been a christmas festive and welcoming season. Given this unfortunate experience, I am afraid not be returning to Novotel Cardiff Central on future visits to Cardiff. There are certainly better options available for travellers seeking both comfort and professionalism.

Room is clean but aged. Drinking water provided once only, not replenish daily. Not feeling welcome by reception as they appeared to be robotic and just doing what they are paid to do. Kettle provided, no mini fridge. No F&B outlet nearby, just a 3rd party run restaurant next to hotel lobby. 20 mins walk to city center. Below par Accors hotel.

My family and I enjoy facilities in Hotel, especially indoor swimming pool with sauna 👍, restaurant is really nice environment and good food. The band of shower gel, shampoo and hand washing is very nice, the smell is good 💖 But unfortunately, our room air conditioner out of control, we only use fans in our hotel room 🤯 I can’t expect in our 永安😅 Although our bathroom has a tub, it hasn’t stopper. I want to reception ask for it , staff told me arrange a maintenance visit next day, no show. I think it just sometime happens, the hotel is nice and location is good too.
