Beautiful use of such an historical building. With superb gardens. A refreshing respite after a busy day exploring Cambridge.

The hall and grounds are beautiful. The rooms not so, very basic, small and old worse than a Travel Lodge. But the gardens make up for it. The doors need addressing, from early morning all you can hear is banging doors… need some cushioning on the frame. 10 minutes drive into Cambridge.

Amazing historical house with beautiful entrance and grand dining hall, surrounded by gorgeous gardens. The rooms are in a 20th century extention but are clean and comfortable. Really nice breakfast included

距離劍橋幾公裡外的古老莊園，一座建於16世紀的Madingley Hall，亨利七世狩獵的行宮。後來這座莊園被劍橋大學買下，現在用作繼續教育學院和會議中心。開滿鮮花的草地，散落着羊羣，遠處是茂密森林。尋找我們的房間就像穿越迷宮一樣。 旁邊的房客們，個個都是書卷氣質，優雅又親切。

Me and my daughter loved Madingley Hall, and the beautiful grounds. We knew about the location before we booked, so we knew it is a 15 minute taxi-ride to the centre. An excellent breakfast is included - for diner you usually have to go out. Definitely book if you are looking for a beautiful country estate, friendly staff, comfortable rooms, beautiful lawns to relax on and some peace from the busy city of Cambridge!
