By far the worst hotel experience of my life. An absolute disaster. 300$ was stolen from the safe inside the room, and the worst part is that the morning shift manager aggressively defended the hotel, tried to cover up the incident, and acted as if theft is normal behavior. This raises serious suspicion about his involvement. Housekeeping staff invade your privacy, use personal items like perfumes and creams, and enter the room while you are sleeping. Even with a “Do Not Clean Room” sign, they enter anyway without permission. The hotel is located in a dirty, dangerous area, full of drug ******* and thieves. You genuinely feel unsafe even standing outside the hotel. The food is disgusting and barely edible. Service is humiliating, staff constantly chase guests for tips, and if you don’t pay, they deliberately ignore you or treat you badly. I strongly warn Saudi, Gulf, and Arab travelers to stay away from this place. This hotel is not worth staying in even for free.

Everything was literally perfect except for the flies and a few knats flying around the food. Which tells me that the kitchen needs to become cleaner.  The bathtub rim and toilet rim could use a little more scrubbing, but other than that everything was lovely.

This hotel is in the centre of the CBD. It’s closer to many local amenities and long street. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast has a variety of options and the restaurant is open until very late at night and has local and international cuisines like Korean short rib and Vietnamese spring roll. The rooms are very clean and spacious. They have The Grotto Spa within the hotel which I highly recommend. I definitely would suggest you check it out if you plan to visit Cape Town.
