I have stayed at this Motel several times before, and it is definitely getting better with each visit. On this stay, I had a room which had been recently renovated, and although a "Motel" was far better then a lot of "Hotels" I have stayed in. Nice to have in-room fridge, Tea & coffee, Toaster, Microwave......great for doing my own breakfast! Everything was very clean and in good condition. My room faced the road, but was not aware of any road noise, and was still very quiet at night. Will definitely return again.

I have stayed at this motel several times, primarily because of its location. While the rooms are spacious, the bed comfortable, and the facilities (fridge, toaster, tea & coffee making facility, iron etc) are good, the rooms are definitely in need of an update and renovation, or at the very least a healthy dose of maintenance. As a couple, we each had a large bath towel, and yet the only place to hang wet towels was one hook and a nail on the back of the door. No towel rail. A smaller hand towel in the bathroom would also have been appreciated. Other then that, we had a comfortable stay, and will return when next in Castlemaine

A very good standard motel. Nice to have fridge, toaster, microwave, jug with tea & coffee, so very easy to self-cater breakfast. If I was to be very picky, an in-room safe would be good, but other then that, a very good, comfortable stay. Will definitely stay again.

Very spacious room, and comfortable bed. Nice to have a fridge, microwave etc in the room. Overall, a very nice place and will definitely stay again. The only slight negative was when checking in, being asked for a holding deposit of $100 (which I have no problem with), however this was done by giving me a piece of paper on which they asked to give ALL of my credit card details, INCLUDING the three digit security code on the back of the card !! I told them I wouldnt do that as it would give whoever has the piece of paper total access to my credit card! Fortunately the guy at reception was understanding of my point and said it wasnt necessary. Other then that......a good place to stay in Castlemaine.
