查爾頓漢姆希爾頓逸林酒店 (DoubleTree by Hilton Cheltenham-Cotswolds)

這個酒店居然沒有電梯！沉重的行李要自己搬或者找服務員，實在不方便！

房間衞生還可以，窗外風景也不錯，能望到高爾夫球場。服務人員熱情周到，酒店周邊環境優美、空氣清新，適合散步曬太陽、遛娃！

有華裔工作人員，非常的熱情，衞生間比較緊湊，早餐比較豐盛，周邊環境優美。

酒店服務，設施及食物都很好，酒店位置都很好。

This hotel is decent for a weekend in Cotswolds if you’re driving given you’ll need to drive 30ish mins to the main areas. Overall feedback is that this hotel is average. Full feedback below: 1- breakfast: limited selection, tight timings, doesn’t cater for all dietary requirements; if you pay £5 they bring you breakfast in bed! 2.5/5 score 2- location: decent if driving, 30mins away from main Cotswolds touristic places and Lidl right next door; 3.5/5 3- room cleanliness: 5/5 no issues here room was clean 4- room specifics: we asked for a double bed and they instead gave two single beds pushed together making it look like a queen bed. It hurt our backs to much given as a couple we couldn’t sleep in the middle of this supposed queen bed given the hard lining of the single bed edges hurt our backs. The room itself is big. Bed terrible. Bathroom very nice. But given the bed situation I can’t score above 1/5 here overall given my back was truly hurting. 5- security: this was the most dangerous hotel I’ve ever slept in which gave us anxiety. When I say dangerous I don’t mean we witnessed any crimes whatsoever. It was the fact that anyone, literally any random strangers from outside can come inside the hotel literally all the way to outside your room because there is no security, for example lifts that require a keypass or doors requiring such either. All main doors were fully open at all times. I literally only needed my keypass to get inside the room but I could’ve been anybody getting in. This elevated the stress levels to pretty high given we didn’t feel comfortable walking down the corridors and all. Score 0/5.

We stayed during our Cotswold 永安. Great location and amenities.

Disappointing Room Size  The hotel room I received didn’t match the specifications promised during booking. Advertised as a 26 sqm King-sized space, the room I walked into was significantly smaller (around 20 sqm) —cramped and difficult to navigate, with barely any space for luggage or comfortable movement. Initially, the service agent insisted all rooms were the same size and claimed I’d been upgraded to a Queen-sized room. They also told me no alternative rooms were available due to full booking. After nearly an hour of late-night discussion with the on-duty manager—around 11pm—I was finally offered a room that was noticeably more spacious and aligned with my expectations. This experience highlights the importance of honest and accurate descriptions in hotel listings. I hope future guests won’t have to deal with the same confusion and inconvenience.
