Our stay was a little underwhelming overall. The location is excellent, but the facilities left something to be desired, especially considering there are more affordable hotels in Chester that offer more. On arrival, there was only one set of towels in the room, though reception quickly resolved this and the service we received throughout was faultless. The dressing table light wasn’t working, and we were also given conflicting information regarding late checkout, night reception advised it was free until midday, but when I called in the morning, I was told there would be a charge. While the room itself was very basic, it was clean, which we appreciated. That said, we wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

Appalling. The hotel held a function on the top floor meaning every single room in the hotel (including mine on the lowest, yes lowest, floor) were subject to noisy music all evening. Only a spiteful, money-grabbing, antisocial management would allow this. AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS.

Friendly reception staff. Great location. Room good size and modern bathroom but not the cleanest, hair on dress cushions, hair in shower tray, lots of dust in room. Expected a bit better from here.
