super affordable. my room was really clean and the facilities like showers and kitchen was clean too. it was off season so not much crowd, plenty of space in the fridge for my food. Room had everything i needed, including a fan. Laundry services were slightly pricey at $6/wash and $6/dry, bring your own detergent, or buy some during store hours at the little shop near checkin. no vending machine for it! really rocky beach right behind the property, had loads of fun just hanging around.

Family of 4, stayed in the lodge cabins, they were well equipped with fridges and deep freezers to store food. Rooms were clean, recommend taking your own blankets though or will need to pay to hire some. Good beach for kids to snorkel.

Staff is super friendly. I fell ill and couldnt left Auckland and because of the app policy, I couldnt get the refund but they still let my friends stay there instead of myself. And they were very pleased with stay. It was clean, had all the amenities needed for comfortable stay etc.
