This is a tricky review to write.   The good - staff once we arrived were helpful (concierge beforehand was very erratic and responded to some emails but not to others, even when gently chased); room was cleaned nicely; location great for skiing (less so for town); breakfast good; ski room (independent company) really helpful if expensive. The not so good - we would agree with other reviews we have read which say this is not a 5 star hotel.  The rooms - and we had paid for an upgrade - were pretty basic, especially the bathrooms which only have a small shower over the bath.  The wardrobes didn’t close properly and a handle was missing plus part of the frame on the bathroom door was unpainted.  In addition, the TV reception was awful and made the TV almost unusable, the in-room tablet which was meant to show room service and other amenities to book did not work.  In addition, the walls and ceilings/floors have awful acoustics - we could hear everything from our upstairs neighbours including them using the toilet (and I don’t just mean the flush!) I know this is Courchevel 1850 and it will be expensive but the hotel is nowhere close to worth its cost and I would not recommend.  We have been fortunate enough to stay at some amazing places around the world and this is a decent 3-4 star at best.

+ Belle suite avec vue Rénovation réussi de l’hôtel Ambiance “vibe” de l’hôtel Staff agréable - Room service à améliorer (club sandwich horrible, carte de 00:00-7:00 a revoir) Pas assez de navette (longue attente) staff très gentil, mais une navette en plus serais bien. Attention niveau balade chiens traîneau (gérant mal poli) une réservation de deux traîneau a était décaler de 10 au 13 (problème de chiens …) et ensuite le 13 on arrive en retard de quelques minutes (attente navette) le gérant refuse de nous accordez même un traîneau sur deux , me dit de voir le gérant, je demande c’est qui il répond moi avec insolence. Ne faites pas le tour en chiens traîneau. SCAM 8.5/10 Une navette en plus Une meilleure carte de nuit
