Best for family , food and view and service . Must recommend place to stay , food quality is excellent

It was great stay for 3 nights with family. Room was clean and spacious and the view from room was great. Service - everything was good and breakfast/dinner during the stay was good as well. Overall, a good stay with Istana.

Location was fantastic and view of mountains were visible.. food was also good however there was no nonveg option was there. Behaviour of all staffs was excellent ..

Room rent is too high in respect of quality of room. Welcome drink is not Darjeeling tea. Serving of Darjeeling tea as welcome drink would be appreciated. overall food is good. Darjeeling tea sachet not provided in room. one can have nice view of Kanchan Junga from this Hotel. overall nice ambience.Suitable for senior citizens. Nice evening snacks. overall stay is comfortable. Nice lift facility.

I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the service provided during my recent stay at your hotel. I stayed in Room No. 402, and on the day of checkout, I encountered several issues that need your immediate attention. Firstly, your staff failed to inform us about the curfew announced by the local authorities, which had been communicated earlier. This lack of information left us unprepared and caused significant inconvenience. Secondly, when we requested assistance with our checkout during this unexpected situation, your staff denied helping us. Furthermore, when we reached out to the reception for arranging a cab, the person who attended the call demanded an arbitrary amount for arranging transportation to Siliguri. This seemed highly unreasonable and exploitative. As a result of this unprofessional behavior and lack of proper guidance, we faced numerous challenges during our checkout, adding unnecessary stress to our experience. I expect a detailed explanation and appropriate action to ensure such incidents do not occur in the future. Additionally, I request a resolution for the inconvenience caused. I am little disappointed with front office team once i cleared my bill there is a technical glitch my money deducted but not hotel staff declined m working with different method to clear all these issues overall i will not recommend stay more than 1 days to this hotel

Service is very poor in such rates every one is providing complementary breakfast atleast, basic things required in rooms are not kept by default if any one request then only they provide

The stay at istana resort & spa was horrible. We had booked 2 rooms of same category but one of the room was below standard and had damp patches and fungus infesttaion on one of the wall. Inspite of making the aware of the issue and asking them to change the room. The staff shows helplessness. Kids play room was there but all items which the kids were asking were missing and the play room was hardly of any use. Room service was extremely terrible and had to make no. Of calls for every requirement. Overall very unpleasant experience at the hotel and would advise others also to desist from making reservation at this hotel.
