The staff at reception was really nice and friendly. The Italian lady spoke Portuguese and was really nice explaining us about the hotel and the breakfast. The room was really big with lots of space and a nice balcony. There’s a lot of swimming pools all very nice and all for ourselves when we were there. We walked to the village for dinner but got a taxi back to the hotel as the path is not good to walk at night and it takes around 20 minutes. I really liked to stay at this hotel!

ils sont rigides au niveau du management  (arrivés + tot ils n'ont pas voulu que nous attendions dans l'hotel et après 3h d'attente devant les portes de l'hotel debout nous avons enfin pu rentrés!) et la propreté des rooms pas top et le petit dej non inclus alors que en rep dom tout est inclus  ! dommage car le site avec ses piscines est magnifique !

We had such a positive experience at this hotel that we decided to book it again for our last night in the Dominican Republic. The resort is peaceful, featuring saltwater pools, private sea access via a ladder, and crystal-clear waters. A special thanks to Elisabeth, who made us feel right at home and handled our requests with great flexibility and positivity. Breakfast is not a buffet but à la carte, with excellent quality. Amazing sunsets! The location is strategic for visiting Dominicus and Bayahibe. We would definitely return if given the opportunity.

I was extremely disappointed with the overall experience. Despite booking the penthouse, I encountered several unacceptable issues that made my stay far from enjoyable. First and foremost, the service was poor. From check-in to check-out, the staff seemed disinterested and unhelpful. Upon entering the penthouse, I discovered there was no soap provided, which is a basic necessity that should never be overlooked. Additionally, there was mold in the shower, which is both unsanitary and unpleasant. The rooms had a musty odor that made it uncomfortable to stay in, and to make matters worse, there were dead roaches scattered all over the floor. This level of cleanliness is unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one that is supposed to offer a luxurious experience. While the restaurant food was just okay, the wait time was ridiculous. It took over an hour for our meals to arrive, which is far too long, especially when the food is only mediocre at best. Overall, I would not recommend to anyone. The numerous issues I encountered during my stay indicate a severe lack of attention to detail and poor management. Save your money and find a better place to stay.
